Mission Statement

Our Mission

Passionate Worship! Fervent Prayer! Changed Lives! Community of Love! Living Life Deeply with One Another! Our goal is to help each individual find his/her path to the One True God through Jesus Christ, His Son.

How will we get there?

Passionate Worship: The gateway to the Presence of God

· Psalms 22:3 (KJV) But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

· We are people of the presence. Every service needs to be a divine encounter.

· The style and temperature of worship defines both church and congregation. At Victory Tabernacle, A Family Worship Center the approach will be a blend of passionate contemporary music together with some classical elements of worship. We will strive for musical excellence keeping the goal of an encounter with the living God in sharp focus.

· To promote excellence in worship, there will be sufficient rehearsal and prayer time to prepare both musically and spiritually for the worship service.

· Time spent in the presence of God is the measure of success in worship.

Prayer: God's Way

· The only way we will succeed in building this church is to do it God’s way. We are asking for prayer partners, who, in this stage of our church development, will commit to getting on their knees and staying there until God speaks.

· We also need regular times of corporate prayer.

Evangelism: The heart of God

· 2 Peter 3:9 (NIV) The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

· Proverbs 11:30 (NKJ) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.

Discipleship: Becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus

The word “discipleship” means practical training to move congregation members from whatever level of Biblical understanding and life application they currently have, to becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. That means not only knowledge of the scriptures, but also evidence of life application. “Discipleship” also means doing the same things that Jesus did (see John 14:12)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

Community: Living life deeply with one another (see 1 Peter 1:22)

"Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart."

Is vitally important that every person that comes to the church feels the sense of community. In our face-paced, complicated “post-modern” global community, many souls feel a “disconnect”. Our intent is to help each individual find his/her path to the One True God through Christ Jesus and discover the true “hook-up”—a “connection” to the source of all TRUTH—an actual relationship with God.

Yes, God desires to have relationship WITH you. That is why you were wonderfully and fearfully made in the image of God. He created you with a specific temperament, with unique abilities and diverse talents. We wish to embrace all of who our Heavenly Father created you to be, and foster an environment where you can put those talents to their highest use—serving God’s kingdom by serving one another and the community.
